Long Grove Country Camp

Announcing another sensational summer experience for children ages 3-7! Exciting themes will fill the days with projects, arts and crafts, lessons, games, songs, stories, and lots of fun in the sun! Sessions of outdoor activities will be balanced with time spent indoors. Organized activities will be balanced with time for playing with new friends. "Wet 'N Wild Wednesdays" are always a hit--bring a bathing suit for water play! The good times begin at 9:00 every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and end when the picnic is over at 1:00.

Summer Fun I: Animal Action

June 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, 24

Camp friends are sure to enjoy an action packed session filled with animal favorites. We will be stompin’ with the elephants, galloping with the horses, and swinging with the monkeys. Your camper is sure to go bananas and have a hip-hoppin’ good time. 

Summer Fun II: When I Grow Up

July 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, 22

We are on the career path to fun! Your camper will enjoy a new career every day. Come explore the day in the life of a scientist, chef, artist, and firefighter to name a few. Our on the job training will surely be a hit. Wanted: Career Campers!

Summer Fun III: My Big Backyard

July 27, 28, 29 & August 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12

We plan to keep busy with some old-fashioned fun. Come along with us as we mix mud-pies, go buggy for bugs, and feature a sidewalk art festival with a lemonade stand. So look out for lighting bugs and move over Monet, Long Grove Country Campers will be having a good old summer time.

General Information

Camp is open to children ages 3-7. Children must have turned and be toilet trained before attending. The oldest campers will have just finished 1st grade. The campers will be divided into two groups--3-4 year olds and 5-7 year olds.

Children may be enrolled for one or both sessions. Camp meets from 9:00-1:00 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Campers will bring a lunch from home and enjoy a picnic with friends before ending the day.

The children are under the care of adults with teaching experience. For the most part, our school year staff runs the camp. The ratio of adults to children is approximately 1:8 for the younger group and 1:10 for the older group.

Camp is open to all children--those enrolled in our school year program and those joining just for the summer.

By late May, additional information will be provided to parents of children enrolled.

The fee per session is $360.00. A deposit of $100.00 for each session is due with the application. The balance of the fee will be due before camp begins

Registration is open and will remain open until full. Deposits are non-refundable unless we are unable to offer a placement. Enrollment is limited; placements will be offered of a first come, first served basis.
